DBT means Dialectical Behavior Therapy
DBT stems from Cognitive Behavior Therapy
This is an education group led by Jennifer Anderson. These skills will help regulate ones emotions and behaviors. In addition, one will learn new skills to handle stress and how to respond to others.
There are 4 modules to DBT: Mindfulness, Interpersonal Effectiveness, Emotion Regulation and Distress Tolerance. New group members can join during the Orientation weeks.
The group meets on Monday evenings from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. In person only.
Health Insurance is accepted. Group attendees must also be seeing their individual therapist. The workbook used is: "DBT Skills Training Handouts & Worksheets by Marsha M.
