Mrs. Taylor Wieler, M.Ed., LAPC

Taylor Wieler graduated from the University of North Dakota with a B.A. in English Language , B.Ed in Secondary Education and minor in Chemical Dependency. She has experience teaching students at the middle and high school levels in both public and private settings, including the Dakota Memorial School of Fargo. Taylor received her Masters of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from North Dakota State University, which included a practicum experience at Ellie Mental Health in Moorhead, MN.
After graduation, Taylor provided counseling to individuals in a private practice setting in Salt Lake City, Utah. Through practicum, internship and post-graduate work, Taylor has experience working with a wide variety of mental health concerns and traumas. Taylor’s approach to counseling is rooted in the holistic understanding of the human person; mind, body and soul. This means that working with her may include a focus on a variety of areas of wellness in addition to faith that affect our well being such as sleep, stress management, movement, relationships, play, community and connection to nature. Counseling techniques that Taylor may utilize include CBT, DBT, Somatic Experiencing and Catholic Mindfulness. She has an interest in working with adult children of divorce, infant loss and grief and women's health.
Taylor is a member of St. Anthony of Padua, where she lectors at mass. She is active in Teams of Our Lady with her husband and enjoys learning about the richness of the Catholic faith and God’s unending love for us. She fills her spare time playing with flowers, reading, skiing, hiking, camping, and gardening.
