Ellen Nelson, MSN, BSN, ADN, RN, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Ellen graduated from Maryvill University of St. Louis with a Masters of Science in Nursing, specializing in psychiatric mental health as a nurse practitioner. Her Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing was obtained at Chamberlain College of Nursing in Illinois. She has a plethora of experience in different areas of nursing, most recently in oncology research before obtaining her Masters of Science degree. Throughout her nursing career she has been an advocate of mental health, focusing on holistic care for all patients experiencing health issues. Mental health has been her passion throughout her career.

Ellen is a member of Sts. Anne & Joachim Catholic Church in Fargo. She converted to the Catholic faith back in 1982 and has been a member if the choir at Sts. Anne & Joachim. Ellen is continuing her passion of integrated holistic careby joining Redeeming Grace Counseling, adding in the spiritual along with the physical, mental, and emotional areas of treatment. She will be treating adults for both medication administration as well as therapy. Ellen has 10 children and 14 grandchildren spread around the country, which gives her a big reason to travel! She enjoys time at her lake home, traveling, reading, singing, spending time with her family, driving her Corvette convertible, and staying in touch with friends.
