His approach to counseling is integrating virtue and balance in life through the lens of Christian/Catholic faith. He is a firm believer in a holistic view that the body and soul work together to ensure proper flourishing in the human person. Andrew prefers to use techniques rooted in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Choice Theory, and Solution-focused Therapy. He has an interest in non-substance addictive behaviors such as social media usage, video games, screen use, gambling, and pornography, as well as anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD/scrupulosity, and working with youth and young adults trying to discern a path forward in life.
Andrew is a member of St. John’s Church in Wahpeton. He is involved in several ministries and has a deep love of Catholic liturgy. A lifelong Catholic, Andrew loves his faith and enjoys continuing to learn the endless richness of the faith. In his spare time, Andrew loves fishing, hunting, great lakes ships, playing pickup sports, and spending time with family and friends.
