Child and Adolescent Therapist

Redeeming Grace Counseling, located in Fargo, ND, is now accepting applications for a full-time Child/Adolescent Therapist.  

The purpose of this position is to provide child/adolescent therapy to clients of Redeeming Grace Counseling from a Catholic perspective. The goal is to reduce symptoms, provide insight, and improve a child or adolescent's functioning and quality of life.  

The candidate must hold a Master's Degree or PhD in the field of Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or Occupational Therapy. And hold a license to practice in North Dakota, have a minimum of two years’ experience, have experience working with children and adolescents.  However, will consider a candidate working toward licensure with the right credentials and training from internships/practicums.

Time away from work is important to re-energize and maintain a healthy balance between one's personal life and work responsibilities. Paid Time Off (PTO) is a time-off policy designed for eligible fulltime employees to use for vacation, illness or injury of self or family members, medical appointments that cannot be scheduled outside of working hours, inclement weather, or personal business.  

Full-time employees are eligible for Paid Time Off at 30 days from their hire date. Any paid time off earned will be paid out at the time of separation of employment on the employee’s last paycheck. 

All full-time employees will receive PTO based on the following: 

2 weeks: 0 - 3 years 

3 weeks: 4 – 6 years 

4 weeks: 7+ years 

Holy Day & Holiday time-off will be granted to all full-time employees on the holidays listed below. However, holiday time-off is determined and approved annually by Management and accordingly paid holidays may vary each year.

Ascension of Jesus 

Memorial Day (last Monday in May) 

Independence Day (July 4) 

Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (August 15th)

The Day after Thanksgiving (fourth Friday in November)

Redeeming Grace Counseling believes it is vitally important that its staff members and their families be adequately protected from the costs of illness and other misfortunes.

After 30 days of employment, Redeeming Grace Counseling offers the following benefits to eligible full-time employees:  RGC will pay 100% of the premiums for their Full Time Employees and 50% of the premiums of the employee's dependents for Health, Dental, and Vision. 

Each counselor will be granted $2,000, per year, to be used for continuing education trainings/ courses.

We recognize that learning is a lifelong process, and we view job training as an activity that never ceases.

Counselors can make their own schedule. Telecommuting allows employees to work at home, on the road or in a satellite location for all or part of their workweek. Redeeming Grace Counseling considers telecommuting to be a viable, flexible work option when both the employee and the job are suited to such an arrangement.
