Dr. Kenneth Flanagan, PhD, MSW, LCSW
Dr. Kenneth Flanagan is a licensed clinical social worker who has been provided counseling and behavioral management services for over 30 years. He received his MSW and Ph.D. from The Ohio State University. and an undergraduate degree from the Franciscan University of Steubenville. He primarily works with adults with a clinical focus on depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues and chronic pain. Dr. Flanagan has held a range of clinical and administrative positions in healthcare and community-based organizations. He also works as an Associate Professor in the Department of Social Work at the University of North Dakota.
Dr. Flanagan and written many journal articles and given various professional presentations.
Dr. Flanagan is a professed member of the Secular Franciscan Order, currently serving as the local Fraternity Minister, Immaculate Heart of Mary Fraternity, Grand Forks, ND.
Dr. Flanagan is married to his wife Kim where they live in Grand Forks, ND. Kim teaches kindergarten at St. Michael's Catholic School and are active members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in East Grand Forks, MN. They are the parents to three adult children.
Dr. Flanagan will be seeing clients at the Fargo office. Then will be adding telehealth clients across North Dakota. Redeeming Grace Counseling is seeking an office for Dr. Flanagan in the Grand Forks area.
Ph.D. in Social Work from The Ohio State University.
Dissertation Title: Residential Arrangement, Level of Social Support and Depressive Symptomatology in Young Mentally Retarded (Intellectual Disability) Adult Males.
